Despite the son of former Bomber Anthony Daniher receiving only limited opportunities at AFL level in 2009, the club was satisfied with his development at Bendigo, particularly in the second half of the season. Essendon is keen to turn the 191cm youngster into a versatile player capable of holding down key posts at either end of the ground, although he could eventually settle up forward.
